Composing & Sending Bengali Emails If you click the "Send Mail" link above, you will be taken to the Bengali email composing system developed at Bangali Adda. There you can type the romanized text (which will be automatically transferred to Bengali)of your email and send it to anybody anywhere. The recipient will receive reading instructions along with your email message. This is the easiest way to write & send Bengali emails
To write Bengali emails you need to have the Bengali font available at BengaliDotOrg site. If you have not yet installed it, download and install it properly.

You can also compose emails in Netscape Navigator Mail- Version 4.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer Mail, Microsoft Outlook, Qualcomm Eudora Pro -Version 4 etc. and send as a normal email.

Reading Bengali Emails: If you click on the "read mail" link above, you will be taken to a page from where you can check you emails (Bengali emails,and English mails too) from your own regular POP account. You will also be able to read mails from hotmail, rocketmail etc. (excepting juno.com) and other commercial servers (excepting aol.com). This is the easiest way to read your Bengali emails

To read emails in Bengali (written in the Bengali font available from the BengaliDotOrg page) you too need to have the same Bengali font. If you have not yet installed it, download and install it properly.

You can also read the Bengali mail in any one of the following mail-handling softwares only:
a) Netscape Navigator/Communicator Mail- Version 4.0
b) Microsoft Internet Explorer Mail -
c) Microsoft Outlook -
d) Qualcomm Eudora Pro -Version 4
or you need to have a web-based email account.
